Protecting the privacy of all of our users is an ongoing commitment
of Naked Sky Entertainment, Inc. (“NSE,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
This Privacy Policy applies to all users of www.roboblitz.com (the “Site”)
and our software (the “Software”) (we
refer to the Site and the Software collectively as the “NSE
Features”), and explains how NSE treats personal information
that we collect and receive.
Personal information is information about you, not otherwise publicly
available, that personally identifies you. Personal information
may include your name, location, e-mail address, birth date, or other
identifying information.
NSE has established registration and sign-in procedures which, in conjunction
with this Privacy Policy, help ensure the privacy of information provided
to NSE by its visitors and registered users while using the Site. You
should be aware that this Privacy Policy applies only to the NSE Features,
and not to any other websites you may visit before or after the Site.
Please take a few moments to read this policy. By accessing
the Site, you agree to accept the terms and conditions of this Privacy
Policy and are aware that our policies may evolve in the future as
indicated below.
If you have any questions regarding this information or our privacy
practices, please see the section entitled “Questions? Contact
Us” at the end of this Privacy Policy.
What information does NSE collect?
When you register to become a registered user of the Site, NSE collects
certain information such as your first and last name, e-mail address,
location, and birth date, as well as other information that may be
requested from time to time (collectively, "User Information").
In addition, we may collect survey responses or other information regarding
our registered users' interests and preferences.
NSE will not distribute, sell or rent any of the personal information
about you to other people or nonaffiliated companies except to enable
the provision of services or products you have requested or when we
have your permission to do so.
Please remember that any personal information voluntarily disclosed
by you through e-mail, in public-view personal profiles, public-view
uploaded materials, chat rooms, message boards, or intra-site message
systems, can be seen and possibly used by others. Displaying personal
information in such public fashion via the NSE Features may have unintended
privacy implications for you. We encourage you to always remain aware
of this possibility. NSE encourages you to use common sense and be
cautious about what information you may provide on-line, whether through
our websites or elsewhere on the Internet.
You acknowledge, consent, and agree that NSE may access, preserve,
use, and disclose your User Information, including posts uploaded to
the Site, if required to do so by law or in a good faith belief that
such access, preservation or disclosure is reasonably necessary to:
(a) enforce the Site’s Terms of Use;
(b) respond to claims that any uploaded materials violate the rights
of third-parties;
(c) respond to your customer service requests;
(d) comply with legal process; and/or
(e) protect the rights, property, or personal safety of NSE,
its users, or the public.
How We Use Your Personal Information
Our primary goal is to provide visitors to our Site as well as our
registered users with the most enjoyable experience on the Internet. If
you become a registered user, your E-Mail address may be used in order
for us to send notices about new features, products, or other information
that your personal information tells us might interest you, but we
never share it with or provide it to others. You can choose to
opt out of receiving these types of messages when you sign-on as a
registered user, or at any later time. The Site is constantly evolving
and changing in content and in features. User Information, as well
as information we collect from visitors who are not registered users,
helps guide such changes and the evolution of our Site. The use of
personal information in these ways allows us to provide a constantly
evolving and user-sensitive package of services, products, and features
that satisfy our registered users’ and visitors’ needs,
wants and desires but always with the priority of protecting individual
user privacy. Every visitor to our Site as well as our registered users
should be aware that personal information may be legally and rightfully
disclosed when it is required by law or when we are protecting NSE’s
rights or property or the rights or property of other NSE users, or
if we have reason to be believe that other parties may be interfering
with your or our rights and property.
Cookies
Cookies are small bits of electronic information that a web site can
transfer to a visitor’s hard drive to help tailor and keep records
of his or her visit to the site. The use of cookies is standard
on the Internet and many web sites use them. Cookies allow web
site operators to better customize visits to the site to the visitor’s
individual preferences. For example, by setting a cookie you
would not have to log in a password more than once, thereby saving
time. Although most Web browsers automatically accept cookies,
you can usually change your browser to prevent that or to notify you
when you are sent a cookie. When you become a registered user
of our Site, we will place a cookie onto your computer so that you
will not have to re-enter your password in subsequent visits to our
Site. But again for your comfort, NSE never shares or provides
any personal identifier information to any other party. Other
than this use of cookies, the remainder of our Site is cookie free.
Is my information protected?
You are asked to choose a user ID and password when you become a registered
user of our Site. Your password is known only to you unless you disclose
it to others. We rely on you to select passwords that cannot be easily
guessed and to safeguard those passwords from disclosure. We
highly recommend that you do not disclose your password to anyone.
Also, if there are others who use your computer, you should always
sign-out/log out of the Site and close your browser window when you
are done using the Internet. Signing out/logging out helps
protect your information if you are using a computer in a public
place such as a library.
We keep any personally identifiable information you provide us on servers
that are protected by firewalls and other technological means against
intrusion or unauthorized access. They are located in a physically
secure facility, and only our employees and agents with a need to know
the information are given access. However, you should be aware
that there is no data that is transmitted over the Internet that can
be guaranteed 100% secure in transmission or safe from theft or illegal
acquisition. While no amount of security can give a perfect guarantee,
you can have a high degree of confidence that the personally identifiable
information you give us is protected from unauthorized access and use.
Bulletin Boards/User Forums
The NSE Features include certain community features such as bulletin
boards and user forums. While NSE does not actively use any information
posted on bulletin boards or user forums, NSE does keep an ongoing
archive of such information for record-keeping purposes. We will
display the name a registered user provides to us when that user posts
a message on a bulletin board or user forum. It is important
for each visitor of the Site to understand that if he or she provides
personal information in a bulletin board or user forum posting, other
Site visitors and account holders will have access to that personal
information.
How Do I Edit My Personal Information?
If you sign up to be a registered user of our Site, all of your personal
information will be located in your personal NSE profile. Your profile
can be edited at any time once you have signed in with your ID and
password. Simply click on the 'My Home' link and make your desired
changes.
Does NSE disclose the information it collects from its visitors
to outside parties?
In the event NSE goes through a business transition, such as a
merger, being acquired by another company, or selling a portion
of its assets, registered users’ information will, in most instances, be part
of the assets transferred. Registered users of our Site and visitors
will be notified via prominent notice on the Site prior to a change
of ownership or control of information of registered users held by
us. Such notification will include information on how to opt
out of future use of personal information if, as a result of the business
transition, information will be used for a purpose different from that
stated, or implied, at the time of collection.
Individuals under 13 years of age.
Pursuant to the provisions of the 1998 Federal Children’s Online
Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”), our policy is to not
collect personal information from individuals under 13 years of age. We
therefore do not knowingly collect such personal information. If
you are under 13 years of age, you must have your parents or guardian
contact us before we will permit you to provide or otherwise post any
information on this Site.
Third party links and co-brand relationships.
In an attempt to provide increased value to our visitors, we may choose
various third party web sites to link to, and frame within, the Site. We
also participate in co-branding and other relationships to offer
other services and features to our visitors and account holders. However,
even if the third party is affiliated with us, we have no control
over these linked sites, each of which has separate privacy and data
collection practices independent of us. Data collected by our co-brand
partners or third party web sites (even if offered on or through
our site) may not be received by us. As such, we have no responsibility
or liability for these independent policies or actions, and are not
responsible for the privacy practices or the content of any such
web sites. These linked sites are only for your convenience and you
therefore access them at your own risk.
Changes to this Privacy Policy.
NSE may periodically update this Privacy Policy. We will notify you
about significant changes in the way we treat personal information
by placing a prominent notice on our Site. In addition, the date at
the top of the Policy will indicate when the Policy has most recently
been revised; we encourage you to periodically revisit the Privacy
Policy to ensure that you are familiar with the current version. You
are responsible for reviewing any revisions to this Policy, and your
continued use of the NSE Features after any change to the policy constitutes
your acceptance of the Policy.
