Material Editor

From RoboBlitz Editor Wiki

To open the RoboBlitz Material editor find a material in the Generic Browser (or create a new one by clicking File->New in the Generic Browser and then selecting the "Material" option in the factory pulldown) and double click on it.

Now, you see the Material Editor. Scary isn't it? There's stuff everywhere, especially that list! Don't worry, you'll end up not using most of the things on that list. The Material Editor is node based so it's pretty simple to use, drag and drop. Now enough talking and lets start.

Firstly, select a texture from Generic Browser. Scroll down until you find Texture Sample. Click and drop it in the center. You should see a little box appear with 5 colored boxes that has your selected texture on it.

These 5 boxes are your texture's channels.~

Black = RGB Channels~

Red = Red Channel~

Green = Green Channel~

Blue = Blue Channel~

White = Alpha Channel~

You're not done yet. Drag the black box of your texture to the diffuse slot. You now have created a material. The diffuse is what makes up the main colors of your texture.
