Why a new wiki
From RoboBlitz Editor Wiki
== Why does RoboBlitz Editor have its own Wiki when so many other Unreal Editor Wikis exist? ==
The first answer to this question is that the RoboBlitz Editor is based on the Unreal Engine 3 Editor, so many of the features of the RoboBlitz Editor are completely new and not documented for the public anywhere else. Eventually the UDN will probably allow modders access to the UE3 section of their Wiki, but for the time being that section is only available to licensees.
The second answer is that the RoboBlitz Editor is heavily extended from an early version (Circa Q3 2006) of the UE3 editor. The RoboBlitz Editor was initially released in November 2006, well before the scheduled release of UT2007. Once other wiki's are available to document the standard UE3 editor this wiki will still need to exist to document the differences between the UE3 Editor and the RoboBlitz Editor. Some of the differences are already available at: Other Unreal Editors
